Scholarships for International Students
AUC offers scholarships based on merit and need. Generally, scholarships are reserved for students with strong academic qualifications who demonstrate high financial need.
The types of scholarships are categorized according to the following:

Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program
The Tomorrow's Leaders Scholarship program is funded through the US Department of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs for capable and highly motivated high school seniors in the Middle East and North Africa who come from diverse backgrounds. The program provides four-year university scholarships and internship opportunities at select institutions of higher learning in the Middle East to students who have the potential to become leaders.

The scholarship offers full support to refugee students who wish to study at AUC.

This is a partial scholarship awarded every semester for continuing students that will fund the cost of three credit hours of instruction in a degree program at AUC. Students must demonstrate financial need, have had a clean conduct and academic integrity record for the previous semester, have a minimum GPA of 2.0, be registered as a full-time student and demonstrate a positive contribution to the AUC Tobacco-Free initiative.

The AUC Liberal Arts Undergraduate Scholarship
Building upon AUC’s commitment to internationalization and to offer exceptional liberal arts education in a cross-cultural environment and promoting liberal arts education in Egypt. The AUC liberal arts undergraduate scholarship will offer exceptional partial and full undergraduate scholarships to students from Egypt, the region, and the United States to study humanities and social sciences.

Named Scholarships
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, AUC offers almost 70 named scholarships supported by individuals and corporations. These remarkable awards from donors have allowed AUC to recruit and educate outstanding and eligible students who come from different cities and educational backgrounds. Selection to named scholarships is based on the donor’s criteria.
Need-Based Named Scholarships (selection is based on both financial need and academic merit)
Abdulhadi H. Taher Endowed Scholarships
The Abdulhadi H. Taher Endowed Scholarships provide full or partial support to Egyptian and Saudi Arabian students who demonstrate financial need and outstanding academic performance. The fund also provides housing for Saudi Arabian students or Egyptian students who live outside Cairo and Giza.
Al Ghurair STEM Scholars Program
Established in 2016 to provide an opportunity for talented students to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees in any science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) majors offered at AUC.
Armenian Evangelical Scholarship
A scholarship to be awarded to worthy scholars of Armenian origin in need of financial assistance to enable them to pursue studies leading to undergraduate degrees.
AUC Centennial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship will offer partial/full support for an undergraduate degree-seeking Egyptian and international students.
Dr. Osman Abousteit Award for Exchanges to Germany
This award will support students who clearly demonstrate how their experience at a German university, German company or in a German artist residence will make an impact on their lives.
Hayel Saeed Endowed Scholarship
Established in 1994 to cover tuition, housing, board, textbooks, medical insurance, and local medical services for up to four Yemeni students who meet the University requirements for admission. The scholarship covers tuition for a regular academic load of 15 credit hours per semester in the fall and spring semesters. Overloads, minors as well as attending summer and winter sessions can only be processed after the approval of AUC's Office of Student Financial Affairs and Scholarships.
Hisham Ezz Al Arab Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2010 as a partial scholarship to a talented and dedicated undergraduate student.
Mohammed Bin Abdulkarim A. Allehedan Endowed Scholarship and Scientific Research Fund
Established in 2015 to support Arab students (females or males) in the fields of basic science such as mathematics, engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, energy and petroleum, water and environment, economics, and development. Acceptance will be based on merit and financial need.
Mohamed Ragheb Scholarship in the Arts at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences
Established in 2015 to cover the tuition fees for one student majoring in the arts at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Nevine Loutfy Scholarship
To partially support the tuition and fees of two students (preferably female) in the School of Business, concentration in Finance. The scholarship will be granted to students who demonstrate outstanding academic record and financial need.
Shell Egypt N.V Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2013 to provide a partial tuition scholarship for up to two students in the Department of Petroleum and Energy Engineering.
Springer Nature Scholarship
Established in 2016, the scholarship covers the tuition and fees for up to five years for one undergraduate student who demonstrates merit and financial need.
The Hadhramout Foundation Scholarships for Yemeni Students
The Hadhramout Foundation Scholarship will support a total of 15 high achieving undergraduate Yemeni students, to pursue their studies in one of the majors offered at AUC. Students need to demonstrate academic merit and financial need.
The Nancy and Jonathan Wolf Study Abroad Scholarship
The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
The Palestinian Endowed Scholarships
To provide partial/full support for qualified and talented Palestinian students to study at AUC. Students must demonstrate financial need and academic merit.

Wiley Scholarship
Established in 2016, the scholarship covers the tuition and fees for one undergraduate student who demonstrates merit and financial need up to five years.
Merit-Based Named Scholarships
Youssef Nabih Endowed Scholarship in Accounting
Established in 2004 to support the graduating senior with the highest GPA in the accounting department.
Merit-Based AUC Funded Scholarships
Academic Achievement Scholarship
The Academic Achievement Scholarship is only available to current students who were admitted to AUC before Fall 2015.
