In addition to the apartments' proximity to AUC New Cairo, they have the following amenities:

Based upon experience to date with the varying needs of relocated faculty and staff, there are 40 apartments in 10 Abd El Kader Hatem St. (plot 1) distributed as follows:
- Four one-bedroom apartments
- 25 two-bedroom apartments and study room
- 11 three-bedroom apartments and study room

- Four one-bedroom apartments
- 24 two-bedroom apartments and study room
- 12 three-bedroom apartments and study room

While individuals' and families' needs will be taken into account when approving requests for specific apartments, it may not be possible to meet all preferences simply because the housing is limited. An application/request process is in place to ensure fair allocation and optimize the match between what is requested and available.
