Bus Service Only Available to Vaccinated
Effective Fall 2021, the bus service will only be available for faculty, staff, and students who have submitted their proof of vaccination. Those who are under 18 or have a validated medical excuse will have to arrange alternative transportation to campus. Since it is not possible to ensure sufficient social distancing inside buses, only those who are vaccinated will be permitted to ride to ensure the health and safety of all members of the community.
AUC's Agreement with Swvl for AUC Community Who Will Not Be Able to Access Buses
The University is working with Swvl to provide discounted rides for those who will not be able to access AUC buses.

AUC users must register by their AUC emails on the Swvl app to be entitled for these packages.

Offer period will start once we receive AUC users work emails and mobile numbers.

If any user ride a trip with more than the agreed ticket price in each package, he/she will only need to pay the captain if the trip amount exceeds EGP 30. If it is an EGP 35 trip, a payment of EGP 5 will be needed in cash.
