Utopia presents the AUC community with opportunities to appreciate the complexity of reading as a social phenomenon, while also becoming conversant in the fundamental theory and practice of reading, and increase our ability to develop a holistic vision of the human condition through the medium and study of reading.
Dr. Ahmed Khaled Towfik is the prolific author of 500 works. He is the first contemporary Arab writer to write horror and science fiction and the first Arab writer to explore the medical thriller genre. His series "Fantasia" "was the first of its kind; a plot that presents famous literary works to the youth, through an interactive presentation. "Fantasia" presented the young Arab reader to a wide spectrum of topics framing Arthur Conan Doyle and Sikhism, to Dostoevsky and the Cosa Nostra.
