Speech by a Graduating PhD , MA/MS or EMBA Student in the Graduate Ceremony

The Spring 2014 graduation ceremony for graduate students will be held onSaturday, June 14, 2014 in Bassili Hall on the New Campus. The speech delivered by one of the MA/MS recipients, will be an important part of the ceremony and is also printed and distributed to faculty, students and invitees at the commencement.

Graduate students who expect to graduate in the June 2014 commencement are invited to submit speeches of up to 500 words for consideration by the selection committee. The committee, which is mainly composed of faculty members, will select one speech on the basis of the submitted text and the academic qualifications of the student. While there are no restrictions on the content or composition of speech, it may be useful to include a message to the graduating class outlining the speaker's hopes and plans for the future and how his/her graduate study at AUC has helped in formulating these plans. The message could also include views on how the speaker sees the role of AUC in Egypt and the region.

Submit your speech together with a short C.V.

as an attachment to an e-mail message  to gradserv@aucegypt.edu

Shortlisted candidates must be prepared to be interviewed for speech delivery during these dates May 28 and June 1 from 2:00-4:00 pm in person or via Skype ( if necessary)
