Office Aid II, Office of Human Resources (50018280)

Reports to: Assistant to AVP for Human Resources

Purpose: Under the direct supervision of employees in a higher classification, perform duties in accordance with established standards and instruction.

Principal Accountabilities: 

  • Refills water dispenser and responsible for hospitality 
  • Cleaning all offices and areas related to human resources
  • Set up furniture, supplies and miscellaneous equipment, as directed
  • Report items that need repair (doors, door checks, furniture lights, faucets)
  • Sending and receiving outgoing and incoming mail and deliver them to offices
  • Performing purchases as requested/needed
  • Receiving, storing and keeping track of stationary inventory for the office
  • Reporting on a regular basis a level of inventory
  • Ensuring regular maintenance of office equipment
  • Preparing meeting rooms prior to meetings
  • Handling photocopying of documents
  • Scanning all documents in a confidential way
  • Shredding confidential/unwanted documents
  • Perform any related duties, as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement: High school or intermediate diploma as a minimum requirement

Experience: A minimum of five years of experience

Skills: 

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Communications skills
  • Customer services skills
  • Good physical ability to carry out assigned tasks
  • Best utilization of materials used in the cleaning process
  • Ability to understand English language, basic oral level
