First Year Program (FYP)

The three-day orientation organized by the First-year Program (FYP) is a chance for undergraduate first-year and transfer students to familiarize themselves with the culture and components of a liberal arts education at AUC.

Student Ambassador Program

Student ambassadors are the "face" of AUC — a group of student volunteers dedicated to the positive promotion of the University. As part of the program, students get to interact with distinguished guests, alumni and faculty members, representing the spirit of the University.

Student Serage Amatory Selected as Knight-Hennessy Scholar

Serage Amatory, political science and multimedia journalism double major and recipient of the Tomorrow's Leaders Scholarship at AUC, was chosen to receive a fully funded scholarship to pursue his graduate studies at Stanford University as a member of the 2019 Knight-Hennessy Scholars program. AUC is the only University in the Middle East that has representatives in this year's cohort of the program.

Dame Shafik

Dame Minouche Shafik to Speak at AUC

This year’s annual Nadia Younes Memorial Lecture features Dame Minouche Shafik, director of the London School of Economics and Political Science and the first woman in the school’s history to hold this position. The lecture will take place on March 20 in Ewart Memorial Hall. For event details click here. Shafik studied economy at the Univerity of Massachusetts Amherst, the LSE and the University of Oxford, eventually building a career as a leading economist with experience in public policy and academia.
