Neveen Ahmed is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Management Department of the AUC School of Business. She joined AUC as full time faculty since 2011 teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses in corporate, international finance, investment, and econometrics. She has earlier teaching experience in North Carolina State University teaching macroeconomics. Dr. Ahmed is a member of the Graduate Advisory Committee at the AUC. Dr. Ahmed has expertise in research that cover several issues pertaining to corporate finance and in assessing the credit worthiness and performance of SMEs. Dr. Ahmed current research work is in the field of international finance. Dr. Ahmed serves as students mentor in several case competitions. Moreover, Dr. Ahmed served as a member and the chair of the University Senate budget committee for two year with main responsibilities of evaluating the University budget and providing advices on balancing the budget. Currently Dr. Ahmed serves as the director for the RANITP network; a cooperation between the Business school and Microsoft, she manages the provision of research grants and outreaching activities of the network. Dr. Ahmed is also a member and a co-chair of the University steering committee for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) accreditation.
