Brief Biography

Mohammad AlFiky is an assistant professor of physics at The American University in Cairo. He received his BSc in physics in 1995 from Ain Shams University, and his MSc and PhD in 2004 and 2008 respectively from Wayne State University (WSU), Michigan. In 2008, AlFiky joined the physics department at Ain Shams University where he remained until 2012. While at WSU, he received the Gustafson Award and the American Association of Physics Teachers Award in 2004 and 2008 respectively.
