Robert Colescott: The Cairo Years, a 2021 exhibition at AUC's Tahrir Cultural Center showcasing the life and work of African-American modernist painter Robert Colescott, was listed in Artforum International Magazine's "Best of 2021" issue. Colescott was AUC's first visiting professor of art and the curator of its first exhibition.
