Bikie is an AUC Bike Share service in which bikes are made available for shared use to individuals on a short term basis for a price or for free. Bike shares allow people to borrow a bike from a station and return it back either to the same station or at another.
Stations are accommodated with special bike racks that release the bike and lock it through system control. The AUC bike-share system - Bikie is integrated into AUC mobile app that allows payment using the AUC Pay system, shows nearby stations and available bikes.
