My Performance Journey - Kick-off, FY20 Cycle

In light of our pursuit to achieve AUC strategic objectives through implementing efficient tools to develop the performance of AUC staff, we are happy to announce the Kick-off of the new Performance Management Cycle for the year FY20. AUC will embrace the new Performance Management Cycle through SAP Success Factors, to ensure strategy and goals alignment, continuous improvement of workforce performance through ongoing coaching and feedback, and accurate evaluations to recognize top talents.

First Line Manager Evaluation - 

Second Line Manager Review 

The line manager rates objectives/competencies then submits to second-line manager for approval - 

Review/approve between first and second-line manager in preparation for the calibration step

May 10- June 7

Calibration

Discussion among human resources, business partner, senior administration to align the rating with the curve

June 8- June 26

Employee Signature

Employee acknowledges the final performance rating post-calibration

June 27 - July 1

Manager Signature

Manager acknowledges employee's final performance ratings

The following guidelines explain the performance expectation from each rating level on the overall rating for AUC staff Performance Evaluation and expected distribution range. Percentages may vary depending on a headcount and highly indicated achievements and initiatives.

Performance represents a level of efficiency that is rare and unusual. An appraisal at this level requires thorough documentation, notes, and remarks.

Performance exceeds expectations, but not to the extent that it would be considered rare and unusual.

Performance is good/acceptable on the level expected from a trained, experienced and successful employee abiding by AUC high standards.
