HR Communication Programs
The Office of Human Resources plays a leading role in building a culture of engagement, interaction, teamwork spirit and dialogue among the University employees -- a culture that supports and rewards excellence and enhances a shared commitment to AUC’s mission, vision and values. This objective is achieved by developing and communicating a unified, well-defined message through HR publications, special events and web services along with a comprehensive welfare program.
- Staff newsletter in English and Arabic to serve as effective communication vehicle to disseminate policies, celebrate staff achievements and explain initiatives
- A user-friendly HR website to serve as a key liaison between HR and AUC’s staff community
- HR special events and activities to be attended by all staff members, such as:
1."Shukran" Staff Reward Program
2. Employee Induction Program Induction is designed to acquaint new employees with the University. Such induction will be coordinated on a monthly basis by the Office of Training and Development and will form a regular part of the processing procedure for new employees 3. Breakfast with the president for new hires 4. Communication sessions with staff community 5. Receptions for staff of each area 6. An annual sports day 7. HR Celebration Day honoring staff based on the length of service at the completion of 15 years of service and above at an interval of consecutive five years 8. Staff art exhibition addressing the personal art talents of employees 9. Retirement ceremony for recognizing retirees 10. Staff Carnival, an informal family festival where staff members are encouraged to bring their families to experience activities for all family members
