Young Nutritionists: Taking Control of Your Health

Young Nutritionists AUC

Nutrition is a central topic in our lives, yet many adults and children lack crucial information and struggle to create better eating habits. Knowledge is power when it comes to nutrition and living a healthy life, which is why this course aims to empower young learners by giving them access to knowledge. This course, offered by Mireille Medhat-the founder of Beet It, provides a general framework of what makes food nutritious and a theoretical understanding of nutrition facts. You will learn how to make healthier choices, read a food label, create a healthy relationship with food, eat everything in moderation and have a healthy body image and self-acceptance. Sessions will be hands-on, where you will engage in many activities and ultimately prepare your own lunch box.

Sessions will run daily from 10 am to 3 pm.
