Course Description
Are you science inclined? Learning about physics does not just prepare you for careers in science, technology and engineering, but for any fast-paced career, as you engage in complex analysis and problem-solving required for real-world problems. Examine how the world around us works - the intricate choreography of the movement of a dancing leaf in a breeze of air, the beautiful tones played by a musician, the colors of sunset, or the beauty of the stars are only but very few examples of the plethora of physics applications.
The course will provide you with a conceptual overview of the discipline of physics. Learn about mechanics, properties of matter, sound, electricity and magnetism, light, atomic and nuclear physics, and relativity theory. Participate in hands-on activities, workshops, and mind-challenging questions. Develop an appreciation for physics like you’ve never done before.
