The George Washington University (GW) is the largest private university in Washington D.C., enrolling 20,000 students from across the country and the world. Our diverse student body includes 2,500 international students representing over 130 different countries. As a premier research institution, GW is committed to expanding its global reach through education, research and service. GW enrolls approximately 5,000 students in undergraduate and graduate level courses each summer. Summer classes are small and intensive, allowing students to enjoy a highly personalized and engaging academic experience.
