Research Guidelines and Procedures

Research guidelines and procedures are determined by various university offices. That being said, adhering to university-specified protocols encompasses good academic ethics. Furthermore, there are standards for research ethics that transcend AUC and link institutes of higher learning around the world.

The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is responsible for granting research permission to faculty and students alike. The scope of their work, as well as procedures and forms, can be found on their website.

It is important to note that any research conducted prior to or without explicit IRB approval will not be approved, and may result in the researcher being submitted to the Academic Integrity Committee.
