Office Aid II, Tahrir Cultural Center (Grant Position)

Reports to: Senior Officer, Tahrir Cultural Center Administration

Purpose: Provide support and administrative clerical services to the office.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the office

  • Ensure regular maintenance of office equipment and office tidiness

  • Assist in organizing office events, prepare meeting rooms and arrange documents required to be presented in meetings

  • Prepares office inventory, report on a regular basis the level of inventory and recommend purchases

  • Responsible for filing, photocopying of documents, scanning, shredding confidential/unwanted documents

  • Performing purchases as requested/needed

  • To assist with data entry tasks for assigned projects and draft simple routine memos

  • Copies data and compiles records and reports

  • Data entry and preparing simple, routine memos

  • Sending and receiving outgoing and incoming mail and deliver them to the responsible office

  • Compiles and maintains office records and office activities

  • Refills water dispenser as needed

  • Run office related errands

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement: Intermediate diploma, University degree is an asset

Experience: Minimum five years of experience

 

Skills:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work with others and work to maintain cordial relations

  •  High level of confidentiality and attention to details

  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Internet

  • Good level of English
