Senior Manager, International Partnerships, International Programs Office (50030931)

Reports to: Director, International Programs

Purpose: Assist the director of international programs in collecting and analyzing information that indicates how to expand internationalization and globalization. This person will be responsible for planning, coordinating and administering market research projects to enhance and enrich a more internationalized campus.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Drive the vision and identify delivery arrangements for globalizing the AUC campus to become recognized as the region's global campus
  • Set out the partnership’s vision and message, and proactively advocating the partnership and its role, assuming responsibility for communications
  • Develop strategies and plans to increase the number of partnerships with international universities and strategize on opportunistic partnerships
  • Explore new collaboration opportunities like joint and dual agreements
  • Facilitate and manage the development and implementation of partnerships and develop current channel partner relationships
  • Expand the IPO's international partners geographically by identifying new markets and target groups
  • Coordinate with schools, departments and offices to expand the scope of AUC's international partnerships
  • Manage partner toolkit like sales tools and partner websites
  • Develop materials needed by partners to promote for AUC programs to students and parents
  • Strategize, understand and capitalize for partner to play in market space
  • Ensure partners comply with contract terms, cultivate and maintain relationships among partners
  • Work on new initiatives and programs through setting out and delivering against key objectives, promoting coordination so that major events, participation initiatives and opportunities for innovation achieve maximum impact
  • Provide policy advice, analysis and briefings 
  • Produce timely reports on the partnership’s progress 
  • Handle AUC's exchange and study abroad partnerships program with 130+ with international universities and institutions
  • Handle all correspondence (memos, faxes, emails) and accounts related to the exchanges and study abroad program
  • Provide guidance on the update of the IPO website including exchange and study abroad website with deadlines and application procedures for applying to the program
  • Give guidance in delivering the information session, post nomination orientation and parents orientation
  • Help in organizing university visits to expand and increase exchange and study abroad collaborations
  • Engage in international activities with international universities to diversify the international experiences offered to students
  • Work closely with coordinators at partner institutions to complete documents required and acceptance packages
  • Assist the international programs officer in advising students and matching their needs
  • Perform any other related tasks as assigned

 

Requirements: 
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in a research field
Experience: 

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in research and data analysis
  • Experience in designing, initiating, and conducting market research and accordingly setting up plans
  • Extensive experience in Monitoring and Evaluation techniques 

Skills: 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Depth knowledge in the discipline of research methods and techniques
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Perfect use of Microsoft office applications
