Students and faculty come from all over the world to be part of the American University in Cairo, and it’s a large part of what makes us a center for cultural exchange and innovative, new ideas. However, transitioning from your home country to your life in Egypt can be a challenge. That’s why AUC offers support for international students through the Office of International Student Life (ISL). They are dedicated to smoothing your transition to the American University in Cairo, and to helping you with any concerns. As mandated by Federal regulations set forth by Higher Education Act of 1965 and amended in 2008, educational institutions participating in federal student aid programs are required to disclose specific consumer information for enrolled and prospective students, parents, current and prospective staff, faculty and the public.
