An AUC airport pickup service upon your arrival to Cairo is available for $12 or LE 60. To request this service, complete the Airport Pickup Form and submit online by e-mail to nancy_g@aucegypt.edu or fax to the attention of Nancy Shawky at +20.2.2795.7565, at least 10 business days before your arrival.

We require a 72 hours notice of any changes to travel plans. After clearing customs, an AUC representative will be there with a sign that says "AUC (your name)". The AUC representative will ask you to sign a form acknowledging that you have been picked up from the airport and taken to your destination.
 
Taxi
A taxi to central Cairo should cost around LE 60, although prices are often quoted much higher.
