The UACT Academic Data Center has been established to cater to faculty data storage needs in housing academic documents for reference and archiving purposes. This service was established in response to a need for large amounts of storage space for data that is not strictly related to faculty webpages or in excess of the quota limit, and accordingly cannot be hosted on AUC´s web server. The UACT Academic Data Center will be able to accommodate all types of documents and multimedia content, and provides a secure and stable environment for materials used by faculty in their teaching activities. Typical materials include, but are not limited to, student projects and assignments, powerpoint presentations, video and audio clips, pdf files, word and html documents.
We offer two types of services: Public Directories Private Directories
Public directories will be available on the web, and will be helpful in posting materials for students and colleagues to access.
Private directories will have no public access, and can be used for housing confidential documents.
We offer two types of services:
FTP is used to upload materials to both types of directories, via a password protected user id.
