During Working Hours (On Campus)
1. Call the AUC Medical Services Department emergency number, ext. 5000 or any of the following:

2. Give the exact location of the patient and a description of the injury or state of the patient. If the patient is unable to move inform, the AUC Medical Services Department or contact the nearest gate for a wheelchair or stretcher.

During Non-working Hours (On Campus)
Contact the switchboard 20.2.2794.2964 and you will be connected to the physician on call.
If it appears that the patient should not be moved and an ambulance is needed, call any of the following AUC network hospitals or ask the AUC switchboard operator at 2794.2964 to call an ambulance or alternatively dial 123 for the public ambulance service and give relevant information concerning the location and the patient's state. Report any hospitalization to the appropriate AUC office.

During Working Hours (Zamalek Hostel)
Hostel residents can call the dormitory physician at ext. 7043 or visit the physician at the clinic located in the dorm's building on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
During Non-working Hours (Zamalek Hostel)
Hostel residents should follow and use the same on campus/non-working hours emergency procedures and contact numbers. They can also contact the hostel physician directly at 010.266.1255.
