Daycare Center

The children's daycare center "Caring for the Children of the AUC",  located on the AUC New Cairo premises, is governed by a non-govermental organization (NGO), which oversees the daycare program. Priority is given to the children of the AUC staff and faculty. It is managed by "Small Talk Nursery School".

It is an English medium daycare and preschool for children from one year old (and walking) through four years of age only.

It follows the American University in Cairo's calendar, so it is closed on the days the University is closed. The center stays open most of the summer, with a two-week vacation for the teachers and staff in early August.

Working Hours are from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm, Sunday to Thursday 

An extended hour program operates  from 3:45 pm until 4:45 pm, for extra fees. There are penalties if children are not picked up on time (see Rules and Regulations).
