Music Program for All

The Youth and Special Studies Division at the School of Continuing Education, in partnership with the music program in the Department of the Arts, is pleased to announce the establishment of a new arts program at AUC: The Music Program for All.

The aim of the music program is to offer high quality instruction in music to learners starting at  the age of 6 years; however, adults older than 18 may be accepted. The program offers instruction in piano, violin, classical guitar, rock guitar, woodwinds and brass instruments, voice and solfege. Instruction consists of one-one-one private instruction in techniques of playing an instrument or singing, in addition to group lessons in solfege. Instruction in each instrument consists of six grades; each grade may take one or two years for completion upon successful performance at a juried final exam. Upon successful completion of all six grades, a student will receive a certificate of achievement which qualifies him or her to continue to study in the prep-professional section of the music program. To view the flyer for this program, click here.
