The School of Continuing Education’s mission is to extend the resources of The American University in Cairo to Egypt and the broader region. This mission is accomplished by providing a variety of nondegree educational opportunities and training programs, benchmarked to international standards, to individuals and organizations. Educational programs are offered in Arabic and translation, business, computer and information technology, English, testing and assessment and youth and special studies. Our programs are offered in four locations in greater Cairo, AUC Tahrir Square, AUC New Cairo, Zamalek Building and Heliopolis Facility, in addition to the John D.Gerhart Field Station in El Gouna
