Program Outline

The First Research Presentation Day was held on Saturday September 24,2005. The proceedings were launched by the Dean of the School of Sciences and Engineering Dean Medhat Haroun who gave a brief welcoming address. Professor Mark Welland, Co-director of the Center, who flew in from Cambridge in the UK during the early hours of  the morning, followed with a few welcoming remarks of his own. The day then proceeded as outlined in the Program Outline below.

Professor Hassan Azzazy Receives the Prestigious National Excellence Prize
