This year’s Annual AUC Research Conference, Cultural Survival in Egypt in the 21st Century, aims to look at different dimensions of Egyptian culture and community. Papers and sessions will examine the mechanisms, actors, and institutions that contribute to the formation, modification, and preservation of culture in Egypt.
The conference will be multidisciplinary and inclusive of the entire academy and beyond. Therefore, we are seeking papers representing the disciplinary diversity of AUC’s academic schools. We are also seeking papers from outside AUC in order to engage a broader perspective.
Details, dates, and deadlines and call for papers can be found here.
We encourage faculty and students to take advantage of this opportunity and participate in whatever way that they can in what is sure to be an exciting, interesting, and educational conference.
