Mission and Core Values

Mission:

To attract, retain and develop multi-skilled personnel to the various areas of the university and to contribute, in partnership with line managers, to their empowerment in alignment with the university mission. To develop programs and policies that are supportive to the needs of its diverse personnel and enhance a sound environment where integrity, teamwork, service, productivity and innovation prevail.

Core Values:

We, as HR professionals believe in and observe the following core values:

Organization Development:

Function Objective:

The assumed responsibility and future contributions of Organization Development (OD) to AUC, are meant to improve processes to pursue excellence, nurture employee satisfaction and retention and implement best practices. This will be done through inspecting all HR processes, ensuring that areas of improvement are timely recognized, root causes identified and action plans set in line with the University mission, goals and needs.

OD will contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement and growth that would reflect the desire and passion for providing consistent superior customer service. A positive two-way communication will be encouraged to enhance internal and external confidence in HR services.

In its pursuit for excellence, OD will contribute to the positioning strategy of the human resources office, to be perceived as a highly efficient, competitive and challenging organization, through which talents, expertise and best in class practices are fully utilized and developed, areas of improvement addressed & corrective/preventive action plans secured.
