The process is done online at signup.aucegypt.edu and is fully automated. International students can now issue their accounts and access services such as the housing registration system before their arrival. The service has been extended to serve not only full-time AUC students, but also students enrolled in the School of Continuing Education (SCE).
In addition to AUCmail accounts (which follow the format of username@sce.aucegypt.edu for SCE students), students enrolled in SCE now have access to on-campus WiFi and Internet, as well as access to learning management systems. The Office of the Chief Technology Officer is also providing an online electronic ticketing system for problem submission available with the online application. Submitted problems are automatically routed to the appropriate IT staff member.
The IT Help Desk is also available to guide you through any problems that you may face. IT support is located at the Core Academic Center, Room G024, as well as the Learning Commons of the Main Library. They can be reached by dialing extension 1200 or calling 2615.1200 from a landline.
