Eduniversal Ranks 10 AUC Graduate Programs Among Top in Africa
Ten of the master’s programs at The American University in Cairo (AUC) have topped the 2017 Eduniversal Rankings, with four being ranked the first in Africa.
In its master's rankings, Eduniversal ranked 4,000 of the best master’s programs in 32 fields of study worldwide. Specifically, AUC’s master’s programs in journalism and mass communication, economics in international development, public administration, and economics were all ranked first regionally in their respective categories.
Moreover, AUC’s Master of Science programs in finance and electronics and communications engineering as well as the Executive MBA programs all ranked second regionally. The MBA and the master’s in electronics and communications engineering with a concentration in management of technology ranked third in Africa, while the LLM in international and comparative law ranked fourth.
“I am very excited about this year’s results of rankings for a number of graduate programs at AUC,” said Adham Ramadan, dean of graduate studies at AUC. “These rankings demonstrate not only the quality of graduate studies at AUC, but also the consistency of our graduate programs in maintaining quality. I am confident that these programs will continue in their excellence and that other graduate programs will also come to be recognized for their quality.”
Founded in 1994, Eduniversal uses three main criteria in its master’s rankings methodology: reputation of the program, salary of first employment post-graduation and a student satisfaction survey, which demonstrated the wide-ranging strength of AUC’s graduate programs.
