How do I find out about what's happening on campus? 
AUC's media relations team assists the media in gathering news and helps members of the campus community share their news with the media. We distribute advisories and news releases about major news and events. Upcoming events are posted in the online calendar of events and we also distribute an e-mail of upcoming events to interested individuals who subscribe by e-mailing ocm@aucegypt.edu.

I need background information about the university.
The About AUC section of this web site is a good place to start. If you are looking for information on university policies and/or procedures you should contact our media relations staff directly and they will lead you in the right direction.

Who do I need to contact if I want to come to campus?
The media relations staff is available to help arrange visits to campus, interviews and photo opportunities. If you are interested in interviewing, photographing, recording or taping any of the administrators, faculty, staff, students, events or facilities, contact the media relations staff for permission to enter campus. Please provide your name, organization, contact information and a description of the story you are working on. When you visit AUC as our guest, we ask that you respect the academic environment of our campus; classrooms and libraries are closed to the media unless special arrangements are made.  

How do I contact a faculty expert for a story I am writing?
AUC faculty members are encouraged to respond to requests from the media regarding their research, scholarship and/or professional expertise. Even if you already have direct contact information for a faculty member, calling us first will allow us to provide additional background, faster contact options and additional experts if your first choice is unavailable. We also maintain and update an experts list and can also connect you with an expert that you may not have known about.
