Student Technology Assistant Program
In preliminary talks with faculty at AUC, many expressed concern about the time involved in learning new technologies. Responding to this concern, CLT established the Student Technology Assistant (STA) Program, to provide one-on-one assistance to faculty members in the use of technology in their courses. STAs are students that are specially trained in the use of the Learning Management Systems used at AUC, namely Blackboard and Moodle. They are also trained to use a variety of web 2.0 tools, prepare animated PowerPoint presentations, create grade books on Excel, digitize and edit images and video.
