Ways to Give

Cash and Credit Card

Cash gifts are the easiest and most direct way to give to AUC and are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law in the U.S., Canada and Egypt. There are a number of ways to make your gift:

Messenger

AUC alumni, parents and friends living in Egypt can have their donations picked up from their office or home by messenger. Please call 791.2260/66 or e-mail develop@aucegypt.edu to arrange a pick-up time and location that's convenient for you.

Payroll Deduction

AUC faculty and staff members can choose to make their gifts through payroll deduction with fixed amounts deducted automatically every month over a set period of time. Automatic deduction plans can be renewed, changed or stopped by notifying the AUC Fund at 791.2260/66 or e-mail develop@aucegypt.edu.

Matching Gift Program

Double or even triple the impact of your gift to AUC. Many companies have matching gift programs that will match your gift to AUC. Before making your gift, check if your company has a matching gift program.

Pledge

Pledges enable a donor to plan a personal giving program that is both convenient and tax-wise. A pledge may enable a donor to consider a more significant gift than would have been otherwise possible. Terms for payment on pledges are flexible and at the option of the donor.

Planned Giving

Deferred or planned giving involves making a sizable gift, which is spread out over time. A bequest, a gift of appreciated assets, an assignment of a life insurance policy, a gift of real estate, a charitable annuity or trust are all forms of deferred or planned giving. Memorial Gifts

Memorial gifts are a way to honor and remember a loved one while also furthering the educational mission of AUC. Gifts such as scholarships can also be named after a family member, classmate, faculty member or friend.
