AUC provides furnished housing for relocated overseas faculty, administrators, and interns. The university pays for utilities and local telephone service; it also provides major maintenance and upkeep of the premises. Apartments are located in different districts of Cairo and vary considerably. Newcomers may express size and location preferences, and AUC will make every effort to respect these within the constraints of availability and demand.
