Sami Sabri Shaker

Sami Sabri Shaker is adjunct professor at the Department of Performing and Visual Arts where he teaches “Modern and Contemporary Architecture.”  He is also Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at Cairo University.  Sami is an architect planner who received his Ph.D. in Urban and Regional science from Texas A&M University 1984. He is a holder of a M.Sc. from Cairo University College of Engineering 1977.

He has been teaching since 1969. Sami received a number of awards in Architecture and Planning. He has worked as a professional architect/ urban planner in a vast number of projects.
