Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees for the Winter Session vary according to the nature of the course and the financial aid received. Some courses may require additional fees. Additional funds for discretionary travel should be budgeted.
Special Winter Session courses have different tuition and fees structure. The following are the tuition and fees for the special Winter Session courses:
ARTV 370:
Fees = $1650 , 3 cr. plus tuition (varies)
BIOL 408: Fees = $3400, 4 cr. plus tuition (varies)
MEST 430: Tuition (varies) + field trips fees $750 + housing (if needed) $250
THTR 370: Fees = $ 3314, 3 cr. plus tuition (varies)
JRMC 299: Fees = $3900, 3 cr. plus tuition (varies)
RHET299: Fees = $2926, 3 cr. plus tuition (varies)
Please note that the fees for ARTV 370 include round trip airfare (Cairo-Madrid-Cairo), double hotel rooms, and health insurance. Students are responsible for all other expenses such as meals, local transportation, excess luggage, and other miscellaneous expenses.

Books and school supplies: costs vary according to the course selected.

Board and personal expenses: $510 per month average. Five days a week AUC cafeterias serve hot meals and snacks for about $8 per meal. A monthly meal voucher, payable in Egyptian pounds, may be purchased in Cairo from the AUC Food Service for use in the AUC cafeterias. Meals at inexpensive local restaurants cost about $8 to $10 each ($17 x 30 days= $510).
