Tuition Fees
2007/8 academic year tuition fees for new students.
Scholarships
Undergraduate scholarships provide the opportunity for talented and dedicated students from the region to obtain a quality liberal arts education at AUC. The university offers several scholarships that range from reductions in tuition fees to cash prizes to deserving students who fulfill each scholarship's specific requirements.
Financial
Aid (Egyptians)
Financial aid gives partial reduction in tuition for degree-seeking students who require assistance in paying their tuition fees. AUC's financial aid program ensures that no deserving student is deprived from joining AUC. About 60% of all degree-seeking students at the university benefit from its financial aid program.
Financial Aid (Non-Egyptians)
A number of scholarships and other forms of financial suupport are available for non-Egyptian students wishing to attend AUC
Work Study Program
Part of the financial aid program is the work study program, which provides work assignments to students on campus in return for financial compensation earned at the end of the working period.
Deferred Payment
When a student is unable to pay the entire amount due at the time of registration, the director of student financial affairs may approve payment in two installments.
Refund Policy
Given the need to know which new undergraduate students will attend AUC in order to admit alternate candidates by the beginning of classes, new undergraduate students are not entitled to refunds. AUC's refund policy applies to tuition for credit courses, audited courses, and instruction in the ALI and ELI. The student services and activities fee, the application fee, laboratory and studio course fees, and special charges are not refundable.
