Financial Aid for Egyptian Students

 Eligibility

  1. Students must apply for admission to AUC.
  2. Student’s financial need should be fully described in the financial aid application form.
  3. Financial aid is applied only for degree-seeking students.
  4. Accumulated GPA should not be less than 2.00 for returning undergraduate students or 3.00 for returning graduate students.
  5. Undergraduate students should maintain a full-time status (not less than 12 credit hours per semester), while Graduate students can maintain a part-time status.

Required Documents

 

Students should submit official documents concerning their parent’s income or their personal income in case they are independent. Also, if there are siblings who study in other university or school, the receipts of their tuition fees should be submitted. If their parents pay very high medical costs, documents related to clarify such circumstances should be submitted as well.

 

Selection

 

A sub-committee on financial aid and scholarships decides who will receive the financial aid and the amount of that aid. The grants are determined based on the students’ financial needs that are illustrated in the financial aid application forms, interviewer’s opinion and budget limitations.
