Admission Process
In addition to fulfilling the university's secondary school certificate requirements and English language requirements, applicants must also submit the following documents before the specified application deadline.
Your application and final admission will be pending the submission of all required official documents. Applications submitted beyond the deadline dates will be considered pending space availability.

Completed application form and fee.

Three passport-size photographs with the applicant’s name printed on the back of each photograph.

A recent medical report stating that the applicant is physically and mentally capable of doing university-level work. For the protection of the student and the university, acceptance of applicants is conditional upon proof that the student has passed a complete medical examination within the past year.

An essay on the following topic: How can you benefit from the education at AUC? The essay should be legibly handwritten in English or Arabic and should be 300-500 words in length. The intent of the essay is to provide the applicant the opportunity to express his or her character in a way not possible through the application form alone.

Two letters of reference completed by teachers of academic courses taken within the past two years. These references are optional but highly recommended.

Egyptian females only:
- Photocopy of birth certificate.
- Egyptian males only:
- Original computerized birth certificate
- Photocopy of identity card.
- Namouzag 2 Gond.
- Non-Egyptian applicants only:
- Evidence of sponsorship: a bank statement indicating the applicant or applicant’s sponsor has a minimum of $17,000 in credit to cover tuition fees and expenses.
- Photocopy of passport.
- Applicants sponsored by organizations need to submit a letter indicating that the organization is fully responsible for the applicant’s tuition fees and expenses while he or she is at AUC.

Applicants who completed the British certificate GCE/GCSE/IGCSE are required to submit proof that they finished 12 years of primary and secondary education. Egyptian applicants must provide proof, in the form of a first-year primary certificate or Idadia certificate followed by the three years of education. Non-Egyptian applicants must provide comparable proof of a minimum of 12 years of combined primary and secondary education.

An official copy of the secondary school certificate or official secondary school transcripts with diploma. If applicable, official transcript from previously attempted university-level work.
