Course Description:
This course focuses on the unique Egyptian aspects of biculturalism in Egypt and in America. Students will discuss and write about the nature of our bi-cultural identity through literacy narratives. Sites to be visited outside Egypt are New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, Brooklyn Museum, Greenwich Village, Garden State Plaza, Liberty State Park, Ground Zero Memorial, restaurants and Arab-American poetry readings.
