Fellowships in TAFL are offered annually to full-time students who wish to pursue a master's degree in teaching Arabic as a foreign language and to acquire language teaching experience at AUC

Eligibility

• Full admission to the TAFL program.
• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Special consideration in selection is given to those with previous TAFL  experience and/or excellent qualifications in the Arabic language.

Duration

• Fellowships are offered in the Arabic Language Institute for two academic years and the intervening summer session.

Award

The fellowship covers:

• A waiver of tuition.
• A monthly stipend of LE 850.
• Medical service and health insurance fees (for International fellows).
• Fellows pursue degree study and teach eight hours of Arabic per week.
