Graduate merit fellowships are competitive awards offered to outstanding new or continuing graduate students who wish to pursue fulltime study (9 credits or more) in one of the graduate programs at AUC.

Eligibility

• Full admission to one of the graduate programs at AUC
• A bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale, and a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the major
• A grade of 'very good' in the final year from an Egyptian national university
• Students who are already enrolled in AUC’s graduate program and have a minimum GPA of 3.7 in their graduate courses

Duration

• The fellowship is awarded for one semester, subject to renewal for up to 2 years upon the recommendation of the department and/or school.
• It may be renewed for a second year with approval of the school dean

Award

The fellowship covers

• A tuition waiver of one, two, or three, courses per semester
• Student services and activities fe
• In support of their professional training, fellows are assigned 18 hours per week of related academic or administrative work.
