Life Long Learning and the Challenges of Globalization
In Spring 2008, The Education Forum will present VOICES FROM THE FIELD in four key areas covered by the Initiative:
- Educational Leadership
- Early Literacy Education
- Teaching (For Non-Education Majors)
- Special Needs Education
Professional educators from the field will participate in a series of workshops, panel discussion, and seminars, in order to provide insights into the challenges of implementing life long learning and globalization in local contexts.

Egyptian participants are eligible for financial support through their school’s participation in the Industrial Modernization Council (IMC-Egypt) project. To make use of this support, schools must register at the IMC website, www.imc-egypt.org. Once a school has registered, they will be able to apply for the AUC Education Certificate programs on behalf of their staff. Up to 80% of program costs are covered by this support, with schools and/or participants paying the remaining 20%. For further information on this service, email educprog@aucegypt.edu.
