Translation Admission Test (TAT): 70%
For scores less than 70% down to 60%: Pre-certificate / remedial courses with a passing grade of C (74%)

The PCSI Certificate consists of the following two modules:

1. Groundwork in Simultaneous Interpreting (GSI)
To fulfill the certificate requirements, six (6) mandatory courses must be completed:
- Arabic Editing Skills
- Lexicography and Terminology
- Translation Linguistics
- Contrastive Analysis
- Research Tools for Translators
- Conference Procedures

2. Developing Skills in Simultaneous Interpreting (SI)

Dual Concentration Option
i. To fulfil the certificate requirements, the following seven (7) mandatory courses must be completed:
- Simultaneous Interpreting Arabic II
- Simultaneous Interpreting English II
- Consecutive and At Sight I
- Simultaneous Interpreting Arabic III
- Simultaneous Interpreting English III
- Simultaneous Interpreting Arabic IV
- Simultaneous Interpreting English IV

Simultaneous Interpreting into Arabic (SIA) Option
ii. To fulfil the certificate requirements, the following seven (7) mandatory courses must be completed:
- Simultaneous Interpreting Arabic II
- Simultaneous Interpreting Arabic III
- Simultaneous Interpreting Arabic IV
- Simultaneous Interpreting Arabic V
- Consecutive and At Sight I
- Consecutive and At Sight II
- Consecutive and At Sight III

iii. Simultaneous Interpreting into English (SIE) Option
To fulfil the certificate requirements, the following seven (7) mandatory courses must be completed:
- Simultaneous Interpreting English II
- Simultaneous Interpreting English III
- Simultaneous Interpreting English IV
- Simultaneous Interpreting English V
- Consecutive and At Sight I
- Consecutive and At Sight II
- Consecutive and At Sight III

PCSI Graduation Requirements:
Complete 13 courses
GPA: 2.5 minimum
