Middle East Studies
At the American University in Cairo's Middle East Studies Program we view social reality as a complex whole, best understood by drawing from various methods and disciplines of study. The inter-disciplinary nature of the program is a statement to that effect. Using course offerings of the departments of Humanities and Social Sciences, we study in depth the Middle East as a historical, sociological, political and economic formation. More about the program.
