Student Technology Assistant Program

In preliminary talks with faculty at AUC, many expressed concern about the time involved in learning new technologies. Responding to this concern, CLT established the Student Technology Assistant (STA) Program, to assist faculty members in the use of technology in their courses. STAs are students that are specially trained (with the collaboration of Academic Computing Services) in the use of the Learning Management System, WebCT. They are also trained to prepare PowerPoint presentations, create simple web pages and digitize images and text.
