Registration Checklist

Obtain your PIN number

The Pin Number is a six-digit number, which is a unique Personal Identification Number provided for each student. It will act as a password to the secure section of your record.

The first time access to the system, use your birth date as your PIN # (e.g. if your birth date is March 8, 1968 then your PIN # will be 030868 month/day/year). Once you access the system, and for security purpose, you must change your PIN using the "Change of PIN" option within "Web for Students". Guard your new PIN. You will have to use this number along with your Student ID in order to navigate through the options available online.
If you have a problem in logging in or if you lose your Pin Number, refer to the Office of the University Registrar, Nahla Darwish "System Support and Degree Audit Manager" 2797.5014, Room 136 main building, Main Campus nahladar@aucegypt.edu and she will be able to help you.

Log on to the Web for Students

The Web for Students is at http://student.aucegypt.edu. This system will be available both on campus from any AUC lab or off campus from any Internet link or dialup line. New graduate students will have access to register their courses through "Web for Students" module.

For Fall 2007, the system is available starting of August 29 to September 11.
For Spring 2008, the system is available starting January 27 to February 7, which is the last day of the drop and add period.

Through the Web for Students, you may access catalogue information, course schedule, and available course sections. You may view your grades, hold status, registration status, transcript, and your address. At the registration stage, you can actively interact with the system by performing functions of "Registration/drop/add". You will still have to go through the "Planning and Advising" stage before you register on the Web.

To access the web on campus, visit any of AUC Open Access Computer labs go to http://www.aucegypt.edu/acs.

During registration, if you have any problem that cannot be solved through your department, you can call Ms. Abla Osman, the graduate advisor in the office of the Registrar, 2797.5005/15 or e-mail abla_A@aucegypt.edu.

Note to Fellowship Holders

Holders of any fellowship should proceed to the Office of Student Financial Affairs, Room #163A in the Main Building to finalize registration and get the authorization for the issue of an ID card up to the last day of the registration period. For the Fall 2007 semester, the deadline is September 4. For the Spring 2008 semester, the deadline is January 31, 2008. You need to have the authorization stamp from the Student Financial Affairs Office BEFORE you go to pick up your ID card.
