Costs and Academic Credit
Credit
Students earn three (3) academic credit hours at the 400 (undergraduate) or 500 (graduate) level for the three-week program, which involves a minimum of 90 faculty contact hours. Credit may be obtained from AUC or cooperating home institutions. Graduate students will have additional assignments.
Selection & Costs
Each of the 12 participating U.S. journalism schools will nominate one candidate. Interested students should contact the office of the dean at their school. Each U.S. student will receive a full scholarship funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, which covers tuition, airfare, and room & board. Students will be responsible for their own incidentals. It is recommended that they bring about $500 in spending money for incidentals.
