Tarek H. Selim

Tarek H. Selim earned his D.Phil. (Fellow) and M.Phil. in Economics, George Washington University. He also earned  M.B.A., Johns Hopkins University, M.Sc. in Economics, Iowa State University, B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, American University in Cairo. He has a Certificate in Decision Making from Harvard, a Certificate in Project Management from M.I.T., and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Georgetown.

Selim has received the Research Excellence Award for the School of Business, Economics, and Communication, AUC, in 2006. Selim's fields of research are diverse and include research in industrial economics and market organization, environmental economics, development economics and project evaluation. He has published in numerous international journals including Humanomics, Review of Social Economy, The Business Review of Cambridge, Journal of Business Case Studies, International Advances in Economics Research, The Economics Bulletin, International Journal of Industrial Economics, Journal of Business and Economics Research, Atlantic Economic Journal, Scientific Bulletin, International Business and Economics Research Journal, Journal of the American Academy of Business, and Journal of Engineering and Applied Science. He has thirty three research publications in addition to seven book reviews.
